On arrival we were told the boiler wasn't working so no hot water or heating, however we were moved into another room which did have heating and electric showers after half an hour so no issues there. Breakfast was lovely and surrounding area great for walking etc

I stayed here overnight for a friend's wedding. The hotel is in a great quiet location with great views. The staff were extremely lovely and helpful. The bed was comfortable and warm and the breakfast was very nice. The rooms are spacious but are a little dated and signs of wear and tear noted. The rooms had great amenities.. but could benefit with having a pen and paper in the room for completeness.

Lovely place and location

Lovely place to stay for a local wedding, the owner couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was lovely and the breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Would highly recommend.

Comfortable and quiet

We booked the last available room which was a twin room. We were only here for one night. It was extremely quiet and the bed was comfortable. The property is very old and the decor is as well but it was still a pleasant stay.

Stay was for a birthday party at the village hall for a family member who lives in Bridgenorth. Rooms were comfortable if a little quaint reflecting the age of the property. Breakfast was served in the more modern glass conservatory. Staff were helpful polite and friendly.

Hotel facilities are looking very tired, carpets really need replacing, decor hasn’t really been touched since the 1990s, rooms initially had a musty smell so we opened the windows to let some fresh air in. Breakfast was well prepared this morning, which was the best part of the stay. All in all, we did feel that it was certainly an overpriced stayed for what was provided.

Little Gem

As soon as we arrived we were blown away with the loation as the view from the patio area is real shropshire countryside. Staff were extremely friendly and we felt relaxed and made to feel very welcome . Our room was spcipus cean and comfortable. The food is beyond average and is 5 star quality with service to match. If we ad found this place earlier we would have stayed longer.

Great food, poor bedroom

Food was very nice although came with a service charge for dinner. The bed was very comfortable, slept really well. The room however, was dated and in need updating. There seemed to be a lot of ladybirds in the bedroom and eating area. A lot of hair in the bath plug and bathroom floor, the toilet in the bedroom didn’t flush and the shower head was broken. A bit disappointing considering the price
