best place for an art lover's restful trip
GOOD: I loved the whole atmosphere and interior in which art piece is all around and furnitures are lovely; harmonious with the hotels concept and spacial design. If u are an art lover and your purpose of visit the city is for just chilling out or for work, this place might give you quite of a satisfaction. Outside pool is also enjoyable and bathroom is surprisingly spacious (no bathtub). Fast free wifi. Restaurant was also good. BAD: Some of the rooms are located below the lobby level (which is quite awkward) and have a parking lot view. Yes that is why the rooms are cheaper. But these facts are not identified in the room description and could surprise you. Location is not ideal for tourist. You have to take a cab to major shopping & sightseeing spots, and which is quite inconvenient if u stay for only a couple days.

3박4일 가족여행이었는데 펜트하우스로 무료 업그레이드를 받았습니다. 멋진 전망, 넓은 객실, 깔끔하면서도 세련된 인테리어 등 모든 면이 만족스러웠습니다. 다른 지역 여행때에도 그곳에 The Johnson 호텔이 있는지 꼭 알아볼 계획입니다.

We had 2 nights at The Johnson. Staff were mostly helpful and accommodating. Room was spacious, pool great, bed comfy but our Air Con was making noises which made it difficult to sleep. We had someone look at it but it still made noises. Parking fees are extra, and there is no pull in off street to check in before parking in the very tight parks. City bus loop out side made it easy to get to city.

Bathroom has a trip hazard as you walk in, bathroom cabinets have laminate coming away or missing. Directions not clear indicated in car park. Many spaces for small cars but not for large vehicles. Cut knuckles trying to access the refrigerator under the bench.

The location is great, the pool area is really attractive and the room was large with a good bathroom..however my room was not serviced either day I was there. Knocks on the door at 530 in the afternoon to ask if I'd like it done are too late.

Staff were really helpful both on the phone and in person. The room was quite spacious considering we had 5 people. Beds were really comfortable - not something I would have expected at this price point. Was really impressed and will definitely stay again next time we visit Brisbane.

Everything was excellent. The only issue was when the reception stated that we drank two beers from the mini fridge. After speaking with them they cleared it up and we didn’t have a problem.

I didn't like: $30 a night parking fee - I think it should be included in the price - not an add on - 6 nights = $180 (shocker) Having to request the night before any room servicing could be done the over the Easter weekend A real shane as otherwise great place to stay

I appreciate your concerns with the car parking and how much we charge per night, with such high demand of parking in the CBD and minimal parking oppportunity, this is why our rates are as such. For our Easter weekend, to ensure guests have the best time, we make sure to offer daily servicing on request, but also allow for guests to not be disturbed during the holidays.
