Just wonderful. Just enjoyed the most relaxing night away to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Rooms , staff and food are exceptional.

Room was motel size with king size bed . They needed to get plumber as toilet was leaking .Bathroom heater was not working. Inadequate space to get a wheelchair in room..Main restaurant was nice and staff were great but food and wine over priced .Two coarse $89 three coarses $99. Per person. Would not go there again as disappointing weekend.

Go for the views
This was a lovely place for a wedding destination. I'm a foodie so don't head here for the food, head here for the views, comfortable rooms and lovely bush walks.

Amazing food and views ruined by noise
We stayed in unit 1 which is one of three units in a cabin. Unfortuently the cabin is located 10 metres from the main restaurant which is very noisy. We could still hear people laughing and music playing until late and was woken up by guests eating their breakfast in the morning. We booked a king size bed and was provided with a queen instead only to be told the king is only a preference and not guaranteed. We woke up tired and exhausted with probably one of the worst night sleep in my life. Pretty ridiculous for $600 per night and very disappointing way to spend our wedding anniversary. The positives was the amazing food, views and polite staff. We have stayed in other Spicers before which were all top notch. We feel ripped off and we will not be back. Beware to anyone who gets allocated to units 1-3 because I hope you're a heavy sleeper.

Great getaway location. Plenty to do if you want to explore or just chill by the pool. Staff are professional and friendly.

Relaxing retreat
We had a very relaxing few days here. The outstanding feature was the exceptional service from the staff, followed closely by the delicious food. The room was a bit small but it forced us to get outside and enjoy the different spaces on offer. The mattress was very soft and I would’ve preferred a firmer bed, but it was comfortable enough. The booking site said 2 king beds, but we were given 2 single beds so the site should be corrected to accurately reflect the accommodation. The pool areas were fabulous and the peace and tranquility made for a very relaxing stay

Excellent retreat for couple getaway
The whole experience was excellent. Views down the valley as the evening faded into night was a suburb way to enjoy a glass of wine to end the day. Service was great, everything was great and would recommend this place to all.

Very Relaxing,peaceful..food was an experience.
The staff are fantastic..very friendly...the room was a little small,but you do get a verandah...views over the valley were beautiful...had a very relaxing massage....having grown up on a farm ,I loved the heritage feel of the property.

Beautiful farm-like property with amazing restaurant (the tasting menu with local produce is a must!), great walks, cycling tracks and other activities.

Beautiful rural setting, quiet, breathtaking views
The staff were amazing, attentive and friendly. It was our tenth anniversary and they made us feel so special and gave us some treats including a room upgrade...the food was five star and we were proud to say we were locals as they used all local produce and had their own market garden. The luxury room was just that..spa bath, coffee machine, immaculate all the extras...we felt like royalty..we only spent one night but felt we had been relaxing for a weekend.. Highly recommend...we are certainly not going to travel foe hours when we have such a high class resort in our own back yard...we will definitely be returning for more special occasions...Loved it!!!!

Relaxed luxury
From our first contact with Spicers Hidden Vale the service was superb, it couldn't have been better. The homestead as well as our accomodation was very comfortable, the food was amazing and we felt as though we had been there much longer than we were-it was very relaxing and all the staff very friendly. Highly recommended!

Wedding at Spicers Hidden Vale
Beautiful place well kept, friendly, helpful staff. Quiet peaceful surroundings with a fantastic outlook of the valley. We we there for a wedding which was great fun and well organised.

Outstanding, but no more horseback riding
Great way to experience the natural beauty of Australia without visiting the zoo! Encountered kangaroos, wallabies and camels while mountain biking on their expansive trails. The rooms were plush and the inclusive minibar was a nice touch. The restaurant was definitely 5-star. Unfortunately, they retired the horses just prior to our arrival (without changing the website). Will definitely check out Spicers other properties upon returning to Australia.

We enjoyed the stay but room was squashy.
A lovely peaceful place to visit. Loads of things to do in and around the cattle station and wonderful staff. I can't emphasize enough how well the staff treat all the guest - overnight, restaurant or day visitors. They are very special and give 100 % attention to the guests needs.

Lots of activities
Lovely weekend away. Staff friendly and professional. Rooms and surrounds well cared for and the view is spectacular. If you don't like sitting around, this is the place for you. With horse riding, archery, shooting, mountain bikes, tennis etc you will never be bored. Only downside is that if you wanted a quiet romantic weekend away - this is probably not the place. There were so many kids and it wasn't even in school holidays. Great place for young families not couples.
