"Great location
The room was really spacious with a nice bathroom, although could do with a new carpet.
Aircon worked really well which was a godsend during the heatwave!
The staff were helpful and friendly."
"Spotlessly clean and air conditioning was superb!! And we were especially grateful as the uk was experiencing a heatwave! Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice on offer. Excellent value for money. The tea and coffee free to guests at reception was such a nice touch."
"Positives: 'cosy room' is not as small as you might expect, big ensuite bathroom with large walk-in shower, very effective sound proofed windows, good AC, helpful staff, ok location
Negatives: additional £3.50/day parking charge, very creaky staircase up to 2nd floor."
"Great family room with lots of space. I was slightly concerned the room was going to be cramped after staying at a Moxy at Leon airport. However my fears were allayed, as there was two separate sleeping areas, a wardrobe/changing area and bathroom. Great for a family of four. Breakfast was good too! Only downside was the lack of proper seating at a table for breakfast. But we did arrive at the busiest time. Staff were uber helpful and after the visit I loved the way you can contact the hotel directly with any queries. I had a question on the final credit card charge and I actually spoke to a member of the Bristol team that answered my question immediately. Would highly recommend Moxy Bristol and the team!"
"Perfect as a couple of nights for a birthday treat. Feels like a mixture of Hogwarts and Downton and has a colourful history a secret army use and even a prison. Comfortable rooms, old-ish but nice pool and spa, but the highlight is the excellent food and service. Before cocktails in the library, and to work up an appetite, we used the free naps for the arboretum to find the American oaks from the civil war. There was a commercial conference in other rooms, and apparently it's popular with weddings - but the building and gardens are big enough."
