The hotel is in a nice nice neigborhood of the city. Might not be suitable for people requiring wheelchair access as there are a lot of stairs to climb within the building.

the hotel is a nice old building on a hill. It means that you have walk some stairs with suitcases, but I found it worth it. Room and breakfast is ok but not spectacular.

Great value for money

It was a good stay. A little far out from town center however, hotel very clean and had everything I needed. Was a little outdated in places and breakfast was not amazing, but overall good and I would go back.

Ein totaler Reinfall

Vom offiziellen Parkplatz bis zur Rezeption muß man über eine steile Treppe einen steilen Berg bezwingen. Um dies meinem 90 J. Vater nicht zuzumuten, mußten wir unten am Tor eine Sprechanlage bedienen, damit uns am Hintereingang geöffnet wurde. Diese war defekt.Das Schwimmbad ist sehr klein und das Wasser sehr kalt. Um die Sauna zu nutzen, muß man dies ein bis zwei Stunden vorher anmelden. Außerdem werden dafür ca. € 10 berechnet. Um in das Schwimmbad zu gelangen, muß man zur Rezeption gehen und sich einen Schlüssel holen und theoretisch auch den Zi-schlüssel hinterlegen, damit möglicherw. das Zimmer unbefugt betreten werden kann. Die Fenster im Bad und im Schlafzi. waren stark renovierungsbedürftig. Rolläden gab es keine und im Zimmer gab es keine sichtbaren Steckdosen. Auch das Frühstück war auf dem Niveau einer kleinen schlechtgeführten Pension. Z. B. gab es eine wunderschöne große Holzkiste von dem berühmten englischen Teehaus Twinings. Wenn man dann die vielen versch. Beutel studierte, stellte man fest, daß nicht ein einziger Beutel von Twinings war. Schwarzen Tee gab es nur einen einzigen von irgendeinem nicht bekannten Hersteller, der dann auch so schmeckte. Das knappe Frühstücksangebot war am Sonntag noch weiter verknappt und der Speiseraum war geschlossen, so daß wir neben der Rezeption im Flur frühstücken mußten. Dazu gab es Musik, wie in einem schlechten Supermarkt. Auch der Kellner hatte am Sonntag frei und daher wurden wir von unerzogenen Amateuren bedient.

recepcionista péssima

Embora na reserva constasse que havia ar condicionado no quarto ele não existia. Muito calor, arrumaram ventilador ineficiente e ao reclamar fui atendido rudemente pela recepcionista. Tem uma escadaria imensa para acesso, impossível subi-la com malas. Há um pequeno pateo na parte dos fundos que se pode acessar para descarregar as malas, isto se a recepcionista estiver de bom humor e permitir. Não voltaria e não recomendo.

Beautiful hotel from restored mansion

Beautiful restored mansion to hotel. Room very clean, comfortable and roomy. Parking on premises. Restaurant superb and above expectations for hotel food. Public transportation within reasonable walking distance of the hotel for trips into the city center. I was there only for a night on a stop between Weiliczka and Salburg, but would return for a longer stay.

Our general impression was of a hotel that had been posh at one time but had not been able to keep up the standards. The room we had booked did not have air conditioning and when we went to the room it was too hot to stay in. We needed to upgrade to a more expensive room. Access to the swimming pool was only by requesting an employee to unlock it, as was one terrace area. Beautiful front terrace with great view. Good breakfast.

Super venligt personale, kanon mad og betjening. Værelser er meget hyggelige og rene, men nok ikke så spændende for børn. Et hotel man føler sig meget velkommen på. Lidt langt fra den gamle bydel, men en taxa koster ingen penge. God tur. Vi kommer sikkert igen.
