“Parking costs £10 a night, didn't have breakfast, but we needed an extension cable for a medical machine. I use a sleep apnea device which has to be plugged in by the bed. We asked staff and they just couldn't help us. ”

“I am so happy we stayed at the Pilsley Inn. It is located in a lovely little village just outside of Chatsworth House. I felt like I had stepped back in time. We only stayed one night as our itinerary was very full, but I would definitely recommend this Inn. the people were friendly, and it was a perfect stay for my English holiday!”

“Loved this place. The setting is beautiful as was our room. A real mixture of old and new that worked perfectly. The staff were really friendly and attentive and we truly felt welcome. We opted for the pie for dinner and I can honestly say, it was the best pie I have ever eaten. The pastry was amazing and it was filled to the max with the ham and leek. “Our stay was a journey down memory lane for me. The hotel was still lovely and popular, the room was clean and albeit small as a twin, it was in keeping with such a historic building and the lady on the bar, who checked us in couldn’t be more welcoming. The kitchen even catered amazingly for a veggie and a vegan option breakfast. The hotel is centrally located for the beautiful village of Eyam’s history trail, tea rooms and local walks with good parking facilities. ”

“The room was very beautiful and clean. Staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, and helped us with our heavy luggage without hesitation. Within five minutes of our arrival, we were welcomed with fresh tea, and our room had complimentary cakes! “The room was clean, Staff excellent, Bar fully stocked, Wifi good. Room was very small 10foot wide 20foot long, bed very soft, no good for people with back problems. Advertised as B&B cleaner had to get manager in to do breakfast which was basically a bacon sandwich. No breakfast the following day even though it was the chef who let us out of building!”
