โFour years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day.
This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather...
โWe stayed for 1 night with with 2 children. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We have a double bed, 1 twin and a pullout couch in the room. It was perfect. The views are amazing, despite the weather being rainy and cloudy when we got there, we were pleased to wake up to sunshine and seeing the mountains around. There are a few hiking trails around. Breakfast was great with a variety of breads and meats and yogurt. There really isnt anythinf bad to say about this place. Had its own rustic...

โBreakfast is excellent, and the rooms are well-appointed. The property is relatively new, offering a comfortable and modern experience. The staff provide a warm welcome and outstanding customer serviceโfriendly, professional, and attentive throughout our stay.
It would be great to have a fridge, microwave, and kettle in the room for added convenience. The laundry facilities are wonderful, and the gym is well-balanced and thoughtfully equipped."โ
โStaying in a hotel in the mountains above Chamonix, accessible only by a quaint train (30 minutes) where you can go on incredible hikes or just relax on the patio and stare at the glorious mountains... well, it doesn't get better than that. Everyone on the staff was attentive and nice, and the family room was perfect for my husband, myself, and our teenage daughter (who got her own space). We loved it!!โ
