“Staying in a hotel in the mountains above Chamonix, accessible only by a quaint train (30 minutes) where you can go on incredible hikes or just relax on the patio and stare at the glorious mountains... well, it doesn't get better than that. Everyone on the staff was attentive and nice, and the family room was perfect for my husband, myself, and our teenage daughter (who got her own space). We loved it!!”

“I'm travelling throughout Switzerland for one month by train, so proximity to a station is important to me. This hotel fit the bill for that purpose for a three-night stay, being no more than five minutes from the station on a very direct route. It's a fairly basic property and has seen better days, but it is priced accordingly, so that was a fair trade-off for me. Breakfast options were limited, but again it was priced accordingly. One thing that threw me at first was the virtual check-in...
