“The location was excellent, but the room did not meet the standard we expected based on the hotel’s ratings. The bed was very squeaky and uncomfortable, leaving me with a sore back. The kettle provided on request was dirty, so I had to clean it thoroughly before using it. The toiletries were also poor, so we used our own.
There were cobwebs behind the wardrobe, and the shower had no screen, leaving the bathroom floor wet after each use.
Breakfast was disappointing, with much of the food...

“If I could leave an 11 star review I would. Berat is an Albanian gem and this property and its warm and friendly owner are perfect. Our room was absolutely stunning and well presented. We had a nice chat with the owner over a glass of home made Raki and wish we could have stayed longer. Wonderful stay”
