"Honestly, it was so great! My husband and I had a little weekend getaway and I loved everything that was included in the cabin. They provided fires starters and wood for the fire pit. They also included s'mores supplies for two. It came equipped with basic kitchen utensils and was separated enough from other cabins to still make it feel like we were alone. I will definitely be going back and recommending to friends!"

"Very nice room we were oly there one night, and i would have ,iked to have been ther longer to take advantage of the pool and the nice view, the only drawback was the feel of a long drive from Dripping Springs, where we had commitments, mso there were several trips back and forth, which seemed longer for the curviness and necessarily slow speeds to be safe. Twelve miles is not much by Texas standards, but we should have spent more time there to enjoy the quiet and relaxing views,"

"Small facility. Roomy accommodations with contemporary decor. Extra touches like a few books and magazines, local guides, and games added to the ambience. High quality towels and robes were a pleasure, and the kitchen was nicely equipped except for no measusring spoons or cups. Re staff, we couldn't get into our room with the device on the door, but the personnel at the number we were given to call was very helpful and got us in. The lack of on-site staff is somewhat uncomfortable."

"We loved our stay at Walden Retreats. Becky checked us in and was so welcoming and informative of our tent and things to do while we were there. I was worried that the tent would be warm in the first of August, but we kept the shades down during the day and the fans on. My husband and I actually woke up cold in the morning, so we were just fine. I couldn't believe how clean the tent itself was. They had special touches like robes, luxury bath towels, and fantastic smelling shampoo and conditioner. We enjoyed making smores by the fire and sleeping in the next morning. My husband told me before we left that he wants to come when it gets a little colder to be there during a different season."

"Everything was wonderful, but the cookware needs an upgrade. The frying pan was way too small and heavily scratched, making it inconvenient to use. Also, there was no kitchen knife initially, but when I contacted the host, they brought one over right away."
