“This was the most incredible stay I could have asked for! The breakfast was lovely, the home felt very cozy, and she had the fire lit every evening for a warm and welcoming sitting area. The only thing I would say is, as a Uni student with no car, plan with bus routes! They only come around every hour, and the BnB is a bit remote. A lovely view of the lake, the gardens, the chickens, and the neighbors sheep! I will absolutely come here again :) ”

“Homey inn, good breakfast, convenient location. Layout of the single differed from the photo, with an awkward placement of the television hovering over the bed, which was also a bit soft and wobbly. Other rooms likely more comfortable. Complimentary drink when forgoing room cleaning was a nice touch. ”

“A lovely clean room with fantastic views. The room and bathroom were massive and it was very quiet. We had a great breakfast and lovely evening dinner at the Pennington. All the staff were brilliant. ”

“Parking was a nightmare. Checking in at the bar was awful, the bar staff were rude, didn't even look up from him screen. The room was small, and severely dated, with a toilet that faced the bath tub, and as a 6ft tall person, it was not a comfortable experience. The bath tub was so old that the white has come off, and it was a disgusting yellow with deep scratches on the bottom. The breakfast was terrible, the hot food was cold, undercooked, and the eggs sat there so long they had almost a...

“Staff were fantastic and accommodating with all of our requirements for our honeymoon. Room was lovely looking over the lake and breakfast was superb. ”

“Car park was full in the evening so had to park in a lay-by nearby. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. We were in a top floor room with a very low ceiling that could do with some padding on the corners as it was a safety hazard.”
