Very, very clean so nice convenient walk to the oceanfront beach walking to restaurants was easy not far from the lighthouse. It was a great stay would definitely stay there again.

I loved the room's ambiance and found the decor very cool. The check-in was smooth—while there was no front desk, the process through email and text was perfectly fine. However, the lack of basic amenities was noticeable. We were given only one tiny bar of soap for two people, and the shampoo came in a small, single-use plastic packet that was barely enough for one person.

Buxton Hotel Room

This classic but newly renovated beach hotel was a very good stay for 3 of us(couple with grand). Close walk to beach, extra large room, clean. Any messages to owners were quickly answered. We loved this area of OBX….not so busy as the Nags Head area. Bed linens are soooo comfy😀

We used to stay here years ago, for about 8years running, until the motel changed owners. Then we looked at some other places because the price went up. We decided to book this one up recently, as the price was a little higher but the convenience and location i cant ignore. Was very happy with the new look, you can see many updates and upgrades to the whole property. Very clean room, very happy with how spacious it was, and honestly If i come back I would look at this motel first before anywhere else.

Hotel had a good location for what we need it. Pool only 2 people can fit in, service by the pool was only really for the young people I waited about an hour for the bartender to come and acknowledge and my kids (not a family friendly hotel) ask for extra pillow never got it the first day that I went to get towels for the pool they didn’t have enough. Parking terrible and sooooo small one night had to park at handicap space since all spaces had been taken. Customer service was good but all for the price not worth it.

The room was very clean, in the accommodations were very good. However, the air conditioning window unit was not strong enough to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. It wasn’t exactly hot in the room, but we couldn’t get the temperature to be low enough to be comfortable while sleeping. Also, the cable connection to the TV didn’t seem to be working.

My wife and I needed a weekend beach getaway and so we booked a 2 night stay at the Tower Circle OBX motel because reviews said the location was walking distance to the beach. We were not disappointed! The Tower Circle OBX was a wonderful place to stay! The location is a quick 5 minute walk from the beach, parking is right on the premises and the location is also walking distance from restaurants and shops. The room was perfect for two and it appeared it had been recently renovated, so the bathroom and room furnishing were very nice. While the physical furnishings of the room were wonderful I must give a shout- out to the great service we experienced by the owners of the motel. My wife forgot her hairdryer and the motel did not have one, but we texted the hotel owner and within 10 minutes someone was at the door delivering a hairdryer to our room! This was exceptional service and it was so greatly appreciated!!! We had a wonderful time and highly recommend the Tower Circle - nothing fancy, but practical, friendly and great location. Will definitely plan on returning.

Tower Circle OBX Buxton

Tower Circle OBX was convenient for us, close to where family was staying, to places to eat and easy access to the beach. It was bare-bones, but that is not a bad thing. We found the bed comfortable although the pillows were a bit skimpy. The shower and towels were great although it took awhile for hot water to reach the sink. Our coffee pot was not clean but I was fine with washing it. The chairs at the table were terribly uncomfortable as there was absolutely no padding on them. I would suggest some room darkening curtains over the windows as the shades left a gap for folks to peer in and the safety lights that are left on at night lit the room up like daylight. All in all, I would recommend the hotel to anyone staying a few nights.

Cute renovation spot by the beach!

Such a great stay! The renovated motel has a fresh, feel and the beds were super comfy. Check-in was simple and hassle-free, and the host was friendly and welcoming. Perfect spot by the beach—we’d happily come back!
