โNice place to stay - very convenient for events at Sparkford Hall as its walkable in 10 minutes - comfy family room which was spacious and had the essentials with a nice clean bathroom. Would stay again in the future as it was in quite a nice location.โ

โA simple and modest country village pub with very friendly owners who took great pains to welcome and look after me. Arriving late, they had kept a good supper for me. The bedroom was large, clean and nicely old fashioned. The old church nearby chimed through the night but did not wake me. As I left before breakfast, the landlords left me a sandwich and apple. In no way smart and modern but with a very warm and relaxing atmosphere. โ

โMartin and Melanie are lovely hosts. B&B is a short walks from local pubs. The sunday lunch in the George was excellent.
Breakfast around the kitchen table with the other guests was a real treat. As was the various fruits from their garden.
Easy travel to numerous places including Stourhead and the Fleet Air Arm Museum. Great hosts highly recommended.โ

โwe had a great stay at the Red Lion. Amazing food. Very comfortable bed and good quality linens. But I think the staff was the key to all this success they were lovely and helpful. If only one thing I would improve is the water pressure in the bathroom. There isn't any :)โ

โThe staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough to ensure our stay was comfortable. Our room was spacious clean and exactly like advertised on the web site. Everything was very clean. Bathroom and shower etc very good and spotless. We dined at the Indian restaurant next door the food was excellent and the service friendly and professional. Ths only sad thing was the little coffee shop is no longer there but I understand why. โ

โThis was an excellent stay. I was made to feel truly welcome throughout and the staff really did go above and beyond. It was refreshing to stay in an independent hotel and I would highly recommend it.โ

โThe room was very comfortable and clean. And the staff very helpful. We were travelling and had to get up early so missed out on the breakfast. We did not take advantage of the spa facilities so cant comment on this.
If we are in the area again we would stay here again. The only down side is there is not a restaurant onsite, we were given a list of places which was very helpful, the pub we chose was only 6 mins down the road in the car and was very welcoming and the food good.โ

The first impression upon entering reception (it's in the pub) is that you feel like you've walked into the crime series Midsummer Murder and are looking to find Barneby.
Our room was great, large bed, nice bathroom.
You are greeted very warmly and uprightly, and you feel like you've been treated to a very good life.
The Walnut Tree is located in a small village (approx. 400 inhabitants) and is very peaceful and full of character, making it the perfect place if you want peace and...

โReally nice hotel, with supportive staff. I was very surprised with the fact that dinner included a three course meal. The dinner bed and breakfast was a very good value option
Definitely better value than alternatives, such as the local Premier Inn, for those travelling through Yeovilโ
