"The location was quiet and nice. I could easily walk to downtown Caen in about 15 minutes. There's also a nearby bus stop for those that prefer not to walk. Transportation around Caen is excellent (better than in any US city except maybe NYC). There's a very nearby mini-mart, bakery (do note that their baked goods are delivered, so I recommend walking to a real bakery instead!), and pharmacy.
The front desk staff was always pleasant and helpful.
The mini-kitchen is a little smaller than I would have liked, but I still did plenty of cooking during my two and half week stay.
The entrance to the hotel is a little tricky to find since it is behind a gated parking lot. I was on foot so had no issues."
