This is a spacious choice with a mezzanine floor for the bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast is served in a nice room downstairs each morning but otherwise it is unmanned with a key code system. We found the location really good. There are many restaurants very close by and the sea/marina is around 200m away. There are a number of bus routes that run along the promenade road at the same distance. It’s not too far to walk to the lovely Castello area although it is all up hill. A good cheat is to catch the no.8 bus which takes you to the top of Castello at the northern end and you can walk through it downhill. You can also catch buses to the beach.

We are a couple from Canada and we love to travel! This place is fantastic for a couple reasons. It’s a historical building that is very well renovated, combining modern amenities and classic look. Walking distance to marina, shopping and historic part of the city. You literally walk out from the building and walk in to the restaurants area! Very quiet place if you’re looking to rest. Room was very clean, air conditioned and lit. It has a small safe for your documents, money and jewelry. The size is perfect for two guests, with a living room and a bedroom. Shower with toilet and bidet, which is very convenient. We definitely recommend this place and will book again when visiting Cagliari!

I cannot say enough good things about Palazzo Dessy! The location was perfect with access to wonderful restaurants just steps from the door. Access to the property and communication upon arrival was managed beautifully, there was no confusion on arrival. The property was immaculately well maintained and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts in the morning were delicious… no need to start your day searching for someplace to eat. We rented the suite on the 4th floor, we used the terrace each day. The elevator goes to the 3rd floor only, but it is less than 10 steps to the suite if you have mobility concerns. Book with confidence.

Fantastic stay at Palazzo Dessy

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Dessy! It was the perfect location for exploring with so many bars/restaurants/local attractions nearby. It was easy access to the bus to Poetto beach too. The staff were wonderful and very kind. The owner, Francesca, was extremely responsive and welcoming. She was able to meet all our needs. As for the room, it was absolutely stunning and very relaxing! We loved the fireplace and multiple levels. We would definitely stay here again.
