“Der Aufenthalt in Playa Negra Guesthouse war sehr erholsam. Sobald man das Gelände betritt, ist man fasziniert von dem gepflegten Garten und der Vielfalt an Tieren. Wir hatten das Glück ca. 2 m von unserer Terrasse ein Faultier zu beobachten, wie es vom Baum herunterklettert. Beide Gastgeber waren herzlich und sorgten für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Der Strand Playa Negra liegt direkt gegenüber dem Grundstück. Pura vida.”

“The staff were wonderful to is- Thanks to Leo, Laura, Oscar, Denise, Diana, and many more! Massage with Michelle was also great and so reasonable. The property has a guard that is there in the evening and helped us get on our way with fresh fruit and banana bread the kitchen prepared for us for our early departure at 5 am! Was close to Puerto Viejo’s busy area but nice to be away from the hustle of that. Enjoyed being able to retire to a quiet space with a restaurant that included breakfast...

“Beautiful resort style hotel in the middle of the jungle, yet close enough to restaurants in town and the beach. It has its own private parking lot. Lobby is very nice and sheltered from the rain. Staff communicates everything you need to know and is very friendly. The welcome drinks were a nice touch. The pool is beautiful and clean. The bar is spacious and it seems there is something for everyone, even the kiddos. Our double twin room was spacious and clean. I only wish it had a bedside...

“I stayed at namu garden in June 2025 and had a lovely experience. My bungalow and the property were immaculately clean and well cared for. The private plunge pool was cleaned daily by the staff, removing particles from all the tropical plants and insects that might have gathered during the night. The property is conveniently located near two grocery stores and a fruit stand so you can easily grab snacks and refreshments for your room. You're a 5 minute walk away from the closest beach as well as...

“Everything about this property is wonderful. We cannot say enough about the hotel staff! Literally, EVERYTHING was great. We highly recommend this place. Take the little plane to the Limon airport and just have them set up your transportation. They'll have someone waiting for you. We had zero problems. Everything went as smooth as possible because of the Awa staff! We will return to the Caribbean coast of Punta Cana and most definitely stay at the Awa Beach Hotel again! I'd give them 10 stars...
