The hotel and grounds are quaint, and we got to extensively relax at the bar and by the pool, which was nice after being in loud and busy HCMC. However, the hotel is undergoing renovations, and the sounds of construction filled the air from 730am to 730pm -> not so nice if you intend to take a nap in your room, or eat lunch in the restaurant by the water. "We have come to stay at this hotel many times over the years whenever we come to My Tho, it’s a GEM. Clean and very convenient location, well kept property, recently remodel. Very good and variety breakfast daily. An excellent place for dining too and plenty of options outside of the hotel. A five minutes walk to the market. I would recommend that they should install shower instead of bath to accommodate elderly and short people. However, everything else is perfect. Strongly recommend that you book the room with the river view for sunrise and sunset. It’s well worth the money."
