The building itself is beautiful—full of charm, stunning architecture, and lovely decor—right in the heart of the historic district. “The hotel is just one block from the main square, which makes it easy to visit and enjoy Quito's historical monuments at a leisurely pace. The hotel staff is very attentive and helped us coordinate transfers to and from the airport, as well as helping us with tours of both Quito's historic center and an excursion to one of the volcanoes. ”

“A hidden gem in the very heart of the historic district. An old Spanish colonial house with an open courtyard. Walk 5min to the Basilica and the Plaza Grande. Lots of good restaurants around too. Full of green plants lovingly cared for (even polishing the leaves) by the staff. Mariam and her staff were super friendly and looked after me really well. It was truly a pleasure to stay there and I look forward to another visit.”

“We loved this boutique hotel and we stayed here for 9 night. Mid stay we received an upgrade and wine however we had to ask for it. The view was Amazing! Breakfast was delicious and healthy. Everyone who was assisting us was very helpul and friendly. Not the best area around the hotel but we felt safe. The room was very clean, hotel was beautiful decorated with art and special touches. If we ever come back to Quito we are going to stay here. ”

“Loved the hostel. Has the historic rustic vibe. Have daily events and walking tour on board schedule. In or around the old historic town. Not walking distance from your typical Holiday Inn and restaurants but closer to the typical Ecuadorian life style and food. Its like a maze inside the hostel with creaking wood floor.”

The management is very friendly and helpful, anything you need they will do everything they can to help you. The food is equal to a gourmet resturant. If you have a special need or request they will do everything they can to accommodate your needs. Definitely the place you want to stay when your in Quito. ”
