Wonderful stay

We had a really nice trip to Marina Portals. We loved the facilities, breakfast and room with a nice view. A big plus for us was a room with two bedrooms. We really appreciated the nice gesture with Cava on the room om my husbands birthday too :)

Initially the room we had was right next to the elevator and made a dreadful noise. We asked and we're moved to a better room. Staff were mostly friendly. Facilities good, if a little dated and in need of a touch up and few repairs, Inc the on site Spa. Disappointed we couldn't get a time for a massage.

We had a lovely relaxing week. Hotel staff noticed a birthday card in my room and sent a bottle of Cava for us. Thank you. Hotel is close to restaurants and bars. Also walking distance to the marina.

Not a beach hotel but still v good.

A very pleasant stay. Buffet breakfast very good and plenty of good restaurants across the road for the evening (Steakhouse, Indian, Pizza, Fish & Chips ++). Lobby bar well stocked and live music outside in the evenings.

Very good service in general. Very clean apartment with a beautiful view at the mountains with a nice sunset every day. Amazing bath. Nice, friendly and chilled out guests. Lots of umbrellas and sun loungers. The sea with clean sandy beach, not overpopulated even on weekends just in 5 min by feet. Gonna be there the next time for sure!

Great hotel that we often come back to and has had some good improvements made to the decor recently. We found the bed a little uncomfortable and wasn’t fixed to the wall so if you tried to sit up in the bed it would move. Spa needs updating.

Very clean hotel and great choice of breakfast but the sunbed situation was not managed properly … people allowed to put towels down at 7am and then not come back until the afternoon … I asked reception what time we could use the pool and was told from 9am … this caused a lot of complaints but no one was managing the pool area at any stage during my stay … I would not return to this hotel for this reason alone

Great photography gives the impression of a more modern hotel, which this really isn’t. We paid for a junior suite, thinking that would feel like an ‘upgrade’ however, it was a two bed room, not a suite. The second bed was a fold out and was made up, along with a cot, despite the property knowing we were travelling as a couple. The advertised terrace was a balcony, and the same for all rooms. The bed was terrible. I think it was plastic but I didn’t look under the covers. It was sweaty though and uncomfortable. Only one pillow, like a sausage, added to the discomfort. Breakfast was very basic. Even two tea bags didn’t make a proper cuppa. A member of staff witnessed a juice spillage, but it was still there when we left. Finally, you're not trusted with the old, tatty beach/pool towels, so you need to exchange them daily for a token. However, the pool guy didn’t appear until after 10 so you were left without a towel. On a positive note, it’s a very convenient location for the marina, which is absolutely beautiful with great restaurants and bars.
