Well placed hotel down long drive with friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable room with excellent shower. Room remained relatively cool in a heat wave and air conditioning did not need to be used excessively.

Enjoyable stay

Lovely large room on the 4th floor of main building. However, no lift. We enjoyed our stay but the lighting in the bar and dining areas in the evening was too bright and harsh. No atmosphere whatsoever. Why not turn the lights down? Candles?

A restful stay in a very convenient location.

Quiet location yet very convenient for main roads, motorway and park &rides. I chose it as a good value and quality stay for commuting to Trumpington P&R to visit Papworth Hospital. Easy 25min trip around the motorway. Nice and very helpful reception staff, I recommend it.

Overall, for us this is a good hotel to stay when visiting Cambridge. We haven't had occasion to use the full facilities on recent visits. But are going to make it a priority on a future stay. Rooms are good, air-conditioning works, bathroom good standard. Basin plug needs checking on this stay, water kept draining away. Minor issue.. Will be back soon
