"A beautiful property that is well maintained. The view from the balcony in our room was incredible and the property gardens and pool are gorgeous. But the best part of our stay is the wonderful staff. They go out their way to be kind and helpful and we really appreciated all their efforts. "This hotel was beautiful. Everything about it was five-star. We were greeted by the desk clerk who arranged for our luggage to be brought up. The rooms were great and access to Regusa Ilba was easy-breezy. 2 minute walk into the main square. Breakfast was very nice and the outdoor patio was very nice as well. We would highly recommend this hotel and Ragusa Ilba."

"clean, comfortable and spacious room, nice terrace with sea view. The beach was well-maintained and the service at the bar was excellent. However, there could be more food options (only a cold sandwich) and the nearest restroom is quite far from the beach. The buffet for breakfast and dinner was quite extensive but the food quality was rather average. Overall, a very pleasant stay and good value for the price."

"Amazing location, staff, resort and amenities. 5 star all of the way! We have traveled for years and stayed in Aman resorts, Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Como, etc., and Icona Ragusa is more comparable to an Aman in privacy and luxury. Do not listen to the bad reviews as room prices were low upon opening and clearly some riff raff booked and expected 2 star on property prices. Complete seclusion and a beautiful, private beach with calm, clear water for miles. The GM and employees are incredibly trained and attentive and there for any request. The beds and large, fluffy towels are a dream and no detail is spared - turn down service thoughtfully done with slippers and water bottles awaiting alongside bed. Food and cocktails were delicious and they had a range of top shelf liquors, including tequilas which are hard to find in Sicily. Despite the resort being almost empty, they had a fabulous piano player in the evenings. If you visit Agrigento and Taormina, a must stop for a couple days of calm serenity with no crowds. RUN to book before it is discovered. You won’t be sorry!"

"An absolutely wonderful hotel. The people were extraodinarily gracious, welcoming and relentlessly helpful and kind. The room was oddly shaped, but who cares? The bed was luxuriously comfortable. Breakfast? Incredible? Over-the-top excellent. One note: The hotel is located in a modern, developed and somewhat sterile suburb of Modica, a bit removed from the city itself. Ask the people at the desk to arrange transportation to and from the town with Stefano, a most excellent and thoughtful driver."
