"The air conditioning was nice and cold. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The gym had no cleaning wipes or a foam roller. Thankful they had a few mats, and I was able to do a short ab workout and cardio, though after being in the car for 7 plus hours, a foam roller would have been wonderful."

"We consistently have a wonderful stay at Fairfield Inn and Suites, Germantown. Kind staff, delicious breakfast included. This is a great location, in a quiet safe neighborhood close to shopping and restaurants. We love Sugar Ghost ice cream just down the street."

"We found a previous guest's used underwear left behind in the room. The TV disconnected from the network on our second night and would not reconnect. We requested additional pillows from the front desk staff, but were told that they did not know where they are and couldn't help us. The phone and radio were non-functional despite being plugged in. Front desk staff didn't believe us when we informed them and didn't offer any further remedy or investigation. Several of the lights in the room were plugged in but did not work. On our fist morning we tried the breakfast and got food poisoning from it. Overall, our experience of this hotel was that at first glance everything *looked* decent and sufficiently up to standard, but the actual quality of the stay was extremely sub-par."

"The room was definitely dirty. Had to change rooms because the television kept going out, the toilet would not flush and the refrigerator did not work. The second room smelled like cigarette smoke but we dealt with it because we were too tired to leave again. We did not get cleaning service on the second day so we had to ask for tissue and towels. When they did clean the floor was still nasty and full of crumbs. Definitely not a good look for a Marriott brand hotel."

"Upon arrival, the staff was friendly and welcoming. She was very professional. I could tell they take pride in their work when she cleaned up the coffee area before placing the coffee urn back in it's spot. Our room was clean and spacious. It was annoying how the bathroom light was on the outside near the sink. But it couldn't be placed on the inside of the bathroom because of the shower wall. The curtains also did not close all the way, so there was a sliver of light peeking through. The beds were not very comfortable, but we slept fine. The breakfast in the morning was great! The staff was friendly and helped problem solve when there were no more bowls. In case youre like me and like to know what was there, they had real scrambled eggs, bacon, tortillas, a salsa bar, potatoes, make your own waffles, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, pastries, hard boiled eggs, and fruit. If we are ever in the Germantown/Memphis area again, we will stay here. The area felt safe, the grounds were well kept, and grocery stores and restsurants were nearby."
