โMooi hotel boven in de bergen, midden in het Dauro wijngebied. Hotelier is tevens wijnproducent van hele mooie Portugese wijnen, deze kun je ook in hotel proeven en uiteraard kopen. Wij hadden een gratis upgrade naar een zeer mooie suite. Mooie badkamer, loungeruimte en goed bed en balkon. Restaurant met goede dinermogelijkheden. Uitermate vriendelijk personeel die je het zoveel mogelijk naar je zin willen maken.
Alles ziet er supernetjes en schoon uit.

Opening the balcony door in the morning, a fresh breeze greeted me, and the sound of roosters crowing in the distant mountains marked a beautiful start to the day. The room and bed were comfortable. And the breakfast was super. I'd definitely stay here again.โ
โWe had an incredible time at the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel like family. Very accommodating for our young son. We used the babysitting service and would highly recommend for any family visiting Douro Valley. โ

The owners, Paul and his wife, were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and full of local knowledge, which made the experience even more memorable. โEndroit superbe le personnel est si gentil. Nos meilleurs dรฉjeuners et que dire de leur plateau de charcuteries et fromage ร essayer assurรฉment. Le dรฉcor a lui seul rend lโendroit exceptionnel le reste est du bonus! Les serviettes pourraient รชtre changรฉ pour des plus agrรฉables, mais cela ne nous empรชchera assurรฉment pas de revenir, merci pour tout!! โ

โBeautiful farm...people were very helpful...lovely setting...and great wines and information about wines and ports. Only issue was finding the place...they do not have a sign at the entrance to the property.โ

โAbsolutely stunning, historic property. Exceeds expectation. If you like Four Seasons, this far outshines. Property, accommodations, staff, and location are outstanding. We stayed in beautiful hotels in Portugal--this one is far/away the finest. Location is in the center of the historic, beautiful, charming village, which cannot be missed for meals, strolling, photos, etc. Highly recommend making the trip to the Arouca Geo Park for the Paiva Walkways and the suspension pedestrian...
