Lovely and convenient in easy reach of the centre of Canterbury. Peaceful and easy to get to sleep. Even though they are renovating the restaurant they produced an excellent breakfast.

The staff were lovely, the room e Was so comfortable and the bathroom was bigger than our kitchen. The breakfast in the morning was perfect with a big range to choose from and even the parking was free.

Friendly, helpful staff, immaculate room and comfortable bed. Also very good location to walk into Canterbury. The only small negative was limited tea, coffee, milk and no bottled water in the room but overall I would highly recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights, we were out and about most of the time so didn’t eat or use the bar but the staff were excellent and very helpful when we asked for things at reception. The renovation didn’t impact us at all and it’s nice to see that they’re bringing the decoration up to date. Our room was clean, modern, spacious and well equipped and the lounge was a blessing. We really enjoyed our stay and won’t hesitate to book here the next time we are in town.

We stayed here for a night on our way out to Dover for a cruise. This hotel was a great stop after our long travel day. The staff were so kind and welcoming. They were happy to assist with any needs. The facility does not have air conditioning like many places in England but they provided a fan in the room and brought ice to anyone who needed it due to the heatwave. The room was so cute and comfortable and the location was in easy walking distance from all the sights we wanted to see while we’re were there. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Only other thing to mention is it’s hard to see the sign for in from the road so we missed the turn the first time we drove by but were able to turn around and find it. :)

The hotel and its decor is looking a bit tired, and expensive for what it is. The food in the Restaurant is good, but not very good value for money. The floorboards in the neighbouring bedroom squeaked, and our bedroom door rattled if you had the window open. The staff were very good. The breakfast was good, but I think the orange juice was watered down or was squash!

We arrived on the hottest weekend of the year and our room had no AC. However, the staff had prepared the room the best they could, a fan, curtain closed etc. and it was fine. We were in the refurbished side and the room was lovely, clean and modern. The breakfast buffet wasn’t great - limited continental and low quality hot items. Staff were friendly and efficint. I would recommend this hotel for its lovely room, parking and close to town.

We were warned that the hotel was being refurbished . The main reception was already completed and looked lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On the second morning of our stay they had a coach load of people arrive and were short of staff for breakfast. Consequently quite a lot of the buffet was unavailable but they did apologise and it was hardly their fault if staff were off sick. Overall we had a good time.

A pleasant experience overall. Mohan at the reception was very professional and helpful. Other staff were also very accomodating and helpful. Breakfast was decent the lady was very efficient and friendly. Hotel itself was in a good location with a private car park.
