This property is stunning! I cannot express in words how amazing it is. Beautiful, clean, comfortable with the most incredible staff I have ever experienced. I have traveled and stayed all over the world, this property is now #1 on my list.

This guest house felt like a home away from home. The fire was inviting and the staff were warm and fun to talk to about rugby and all things South African. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were individual and comfortable.

Such a lovely and peaceful stay, the team is so helpful and kind! I would highly recommend to any travelers :)

This hotel & spa was relaxing and charming. The landscape and gardens are really well curated. The staff was really professional and helpful. I also had a great massage at the spa.

Clean and really helpful staff

I had a great experience at Montagu Vines. The property and my room were beautiful and the breakfast was a good as any I’ve had at at B&B (made even more enjoyable by the view over the garden and olive grove). Best yet was the personal care provided the owners Pam and “Ant” who are very hands on. I highly recommended Montagu Vines.

The guesthouse was really beautiful and looked as if it was brand new. We only stayed for one night but we got some great tips on what to do in Swellendam and even for the rest of our trip. The breakfast was also really good! I would definitely recommend to stay here, for the beautiful place and the nice reception by the owner.

This property was so peaceful and relaxing. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying your experience. We hope to come back!

Clean and comfortable room. Hosts and staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was delicious w a spread of fresh fruit, yogurt & granola and made to order hot breakfast. We felt very pampered during our short stay at the BnB. Only thing to note is that when we selected our room there was a picture on Expedia showing a small balcony with ocean views, however our room was not on the oceanview side of the property, but rather on ground level facing a small garden area....

Our stay at the Eikendal Lodge was really great! The place is in a perfect location, the lodge itself has a lovely garden, the room was absolutely perfect, and the service could not have been better.

We loved our two days at Dwyka Lodge. The food was very good with an acceptable variety. The staff were very attentive with a special shout-out to our waiter Julio! While the alcohol at lunch and dinner is not included, the prices were reasonable - NOT resort-like, which is appreciated. We took four safari rides with Marco and he was phenomenal. He's very knowledgeable and does everything possible to ensure an amazing experience is had by all. He was patient in answering questions, and...

What a wonderful place out in the country! They honor of their way to please guests. Breakfast and dinner are high quality. Rather than the usual breakfast buffet breakfast is high quality served at the table with options.

All I can say is wow! We stayed one night in the hotel and it was epic, every attention to detail you could imagine. The staff fell over themselves to be helpful, food was incredible and breakfast in the morning was another level. I wish we had booked for longer but we will be back

We first stayed at Auberge Clermont in 2011 and had a fabulous time with a large family group. I've subsequently returned to South Africa several times and have not been able to get into Auberge Clermont because it was fully booked. But my persistence paid off and I was rewarded with a booking. They remembered me from way back and greeted us warmly. The property has character. Room was not very big but comfortable. Staff really took interest in what we did during the day and came up with suggestions. Friendly. Breakfast good.
