"A truly unique and luxurious experience with conservation at the heart of everything. Would love to return to the Dwya tented lodge again in the future :)"

"Great property, location, food and staff"

"The property is beautiful and near all shops and restaurants."

"The setting of the hotel is lovely with great views in every direction. The property is more homely than high quality and although the people serving were lovely, it lacked the quality and finesse that we have seen elsewhere in SA eg Lanzerac and Raddisson Cape Town. The service at dinner was warm and welcoming but the foot was ordinary. The rare steak I ordered was medium to well done. "Large wine estate with expansive views of vineyards, mountains, and gardens. Ibis around the lake on the property. Very spacious and well appointed rooms. Breakfast was excellent - large continental buffet with a wide variety of egg dishes ordered from the menu. Service at the resort was excellent."

"A beautiful place to stay with excellent service "

"Stunning hotel dating back to the 1700’s in a great location."

"Beautiful estate in Paarl. It actually has its own vineyards, and wine. Beautiful rooms. Would love to enjoy the hotel in summer. Their pool looks wonderful. Restaurant was superb. Perfect hotel to enjoy the ambience of the Western Cape"

"Comfortable, new and modern property with great location and lots to do. "

"Most supportive, genuine staff! Excellent place, if we were staying longer would have explored the spa. Super short walk to see the water. Breakfast was delicious, cooked to order. Great towels and pillows. Bed was very firm, but more than I prefer. The place was pristine, very impressive. Staff got us booked on a whale watching boat ride the night before, allowed us to store luggage before we departed."

"Aquila was one of the best vacations I have had to date. The tour guides are amazing. 10/10 experience."

"Just perfect… make sure you set a side some time on the farm"

"Lovely place, wonderful staff and gorgeous rooms in a very walkable and charming part of Swellendam. Bonus points for great running routes on the nearby mountain. Breakfast was extraordinary and in itself worth the trip. Would love to come back. "

"The views are spectacular from all areas on the property"
