"This was my 2nd time staying here this year! The staff is BEYOND amazing and attentive to their guests!!! I would give 10 stars if I could!! The rooms and balconies are so spacious! Food and drinks are great!! We are done staying at the north end of this island. This is my family and friends new "go to" spot!"

"We stayed in the jungle room. Shower spayed the ceiling and water everywhere. No fridge, TV, closet. Pretty basic! "

"Everything about Maria Kan Kin’s was amazing! We had the Romantic Suite which was upstairs with a large deck and a gorgeous view! Lily, the manager was wonderful! The restaurant, Loretta’s has some of the best food we’ve ever eaten. The beach is fairly small but pristine, plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. You can order food and drinks from the beach. We truly cannot recommend this hotel enough. It made our stay in Isla Mujeres absolutely perfect!!!"

"Almare is a very special place. The rooms are spacious and appointed with everything you should need. The location is beautiful with gorgeous pools and an idyllic private beachfront. Our meals in the on-site restaurants, at the beach and at the pool areas were all superb. All the staff, from Karen, our beach attendant to Arturo in the spa were exceptionally kind and professional. The hotel manager went above and beyond on our last day to help my travel companion with a slight medical issue. I highly recommend a stay at this fabulous resort. We can’t wait return! "

"The location and views of this property are absolutely amazing, as the hotel sits on a 20 foot cliff Oceanside so you have constant breezes. You can climb down the rocks and get in the ocean and if it’s not too windy, you can get in the water as it is a rocky area. Online pics are likely old when the previous owner was operating it, it has substantial wear and tear and needs some love:) Shared kitchen is ill equipped, we bought a coffee maker for our large group of 10. The AC seemed to work fine in all the rooms, although temps were mild 82 was the high, and we opened our large windows at night and did not use the AC. Our rooms were clean, but we had to maintain them on our own. There were no staff present during the day to do any room housekeeping. Manager was available & fairly responsive via text. One staff was present 9 to 5, he spent the entire day on his phone, sweeping sand off the decks areas and occasionally dropping chemicals in the pool. He did empty the trash from the common areas before he left in the late afternoon. He was under utilized and could be doing so much more to bring that place up to where it was. The pool was pretty cloudy the entire eight day stay and we addressed this concern with the manager, he said they shocked it, which I’m not positive about:( they are obviously on a shoestring budget by all appearances. It would be nice if they had on-site manager that lived in the apartment and then it could be properly cared for & maintained "

"Wonderful family stay at Casa Azul Maya! We did have a ground floor room which was a bit more humid - but the AC kept it cool and it was fine for all of us. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and room was cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels as needed. The partnership with Loretta’s was perfect; amazing breakfasts, access to pool and ocean were picturesque. South side of the island is much calmer and slower pace -with great food, coffee and Punta Sur—- we’d come back in a heart beat. "

The resort itself is beautiful with great aesthetics, stunning ocean views, and a perfect beachfront location. The food and drinks were 10/10, and our room was comfortable, clean, and exactly what we needed to relax. Overall, one of the best experiences we’ve had.
