Our children loved every minute and stayed happily busy. **Family-Friendly** Super clean and safe – none of the kids got sick. Pools and beach were the highlights; we barely used the room (minor issues there didn't bother us at all). **Small Notes** Check-in is slow (mostly paper-based), and dinner reservations can be tough for non-premium members – book early! Vegetarians have fewer buffet options, but overall food is great. **Tip** Bring $1 bills for tipping – staff appreciate it! The positives far outweigh any minor cons. "The hotel and surrounding area was like its own suburban location with a city feel. Lots of dining, shopping and entertainment options. Safe and walkable. The room was clean and spacious. The toiletries were high quality. Staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful. Gym facilities are clean and spacious. Entertainment and activities by the pool were chill and suffice. Small lagoon at the Oceanside (non adults only) was the perfect opportunity to feel like you’re taking a dip in the ocean but without the heavy waves or current. Flamingo island was easily accessible and a quick trip by boat. Plenty of space and beach chairs, etc. palapas. Place to eat, drink and shop. Kayaks. Etc. highly recommend this resort for the Caribbean feel without the hustle and bustle of the nightlife and the crowds downtown. "
