“Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. Thank you much for such a great stay!”

“Staff were lovely but the property needs a lot of TLC. The bathroom is tiny but well equipped. Good location for st Michael's Mount but not much else nearby. Bonus was, they offered breakfast included but we weren't hungry enough for a full English breakfast 😟”

“We enjoyed our harbour view room very much. There was always something going on around the harbour. it was quite a long way to the main Falmouth attractions so we ate mostly at the hotel . The food and drink at the hotel was quite pricey but perhaps on a par with other hotels in the area. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff were helpful . The surroundings were a bit drab and the outside space quite limited and close to the road. The hotel was in need of decoration in some areas....

“Double room with sea view sounds lovely doesn't it. Room was very dated, dirty, with a tiny window, and ridiculously hot. Too hot to sleep in. (and it wasn't one of the hotter days we've had recently, so good luck to anyone in that room when it is hot overnight) Ground Floor of hotel is wonderful and has retained charm, but reception is really scruffy and needs a major overhaul. Breakfast hot menu was good, although continental selection was limited. Amazing location, but disappointing...

“I don't think I've ever been made to feel so unwelcome at a hotel or B'n'B. We were using public transport. We were dropped off by taxi at 10am. Obviously we weren't expecting to check in but I've never stayed anywhere where luggage storage isn't available. The owner's immediate reaction was to tell us we check in isn't until 2. She did allow us to leave the luggage but I was taken aback at the unwelcoming attitude. We came back at 2. Owner complained that she had no details about the booking....

“Our stay was comfortable and the staff friendly. The hotel is well positioned overlooking the sea, but the decor was a little faded. The breakfast was excellent.”

“I watch a lot of hotel programmes so I'm a bit od a critic. Room was very clean and fresh. Friendly welcome and goodbye. Breakfast was nice. Great view of the hills and a short walk into the village”
