Tastefully decorated townhouse on quiet road a few minutes walk from Truro town centre, with off-street parking. Immaculately clean, with a wide selection of cold buffet breakfast. Spacious bedroom and en suite. Tea and coffee facilities in the room and a refreshment room for use throughout the day for teas and coffees. Homemade cake was a nice extra touch - an delicious. Friendly hosts.

I don't think I've ever been made to feel so unwelcome at a hotel or B'n'B. We were using public transport. We were dropped off by taxi at 10am. Obviously we weren't expecting to check in but I've never stayed anywhere where luggage storage isn't available. The owner's immediate reaction was to tell us we check in isn't until 2. She did allow us to leave the luggage but I was taken aback at the unwelcoming attitude. We came back at 2. Owner complained that she had no details about the booking. As I booked through Expedia, perhaps she can take the lack of information up with them. At check-in there was none of the usual pleasantries - (e. g did you have a good journey /come far/welcome to Truro) Our luggage had been put in someone else's room. We were happy to move it, but assumed that the "Mr Richardson" the owner was talking to was someone on the floor above as neither my husband nor myself are called Richardson, so my husband didn't immediately help. The room was OK. The bed was comfortable. The room and showerroom were very clean. We had a look at the breakfast but didn't bother eating -one of the pastries on offer was the sort of cellophane wrapped type you get on railway catering trolleys. Rooms have instructions about keeping noise down after 11 p. m - that's fair enough but possibly the same courtesy could be shown in the morning too as we were woken at 6.30am by television blaring from an adjoining room. Location is excellent and the garden is beautiful.

Very central, east walking distance to Hall for Cornwall the Cathedral , shops and restaurants. .Extremely comfortable well cared for room, well decorated and spacious. We loved the extras such as home made cake on arrival, good quality coffee bags in the room and access to a complimentary coffee/chocolate machine during the day. There was a great choice of fruit for breakfast.

Lovely stay, good continental breakfast. Big room with 2 singles put together. Lots of wardrobe space. Walk down hill into center, but planned that as we like to be out from the noisy center. Plenty of places to eat and drink.
