“Going through a remodel. Hallways smelled like paint and WiFi barely worked in my room. Room was clean bed comfy ”

“The rooms were clean. It was an older property. The downfall for me was the continental breakfast.”

“I had to plunge my own toilet when I first checked in, The TV would come on by itself in the middle of the night, noticed when I checked in there was a dirty sock on the floor beside the nightstand. It was still there when I left two days later and housekeeping had been there.”

“All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Always polite and always asked if there was anything I needed. Made sure I had clean towels and clean sheets of I needed them. Definitely would stay here again ”

“While the staff attempted to be friendly, there was a lot of instances where keys just stopped working, loud maintenance work, and the rooms were just so-so. It may be better to just stay in Brookings, SD and drive to De Smet vs staying here.”
