Carrabelle, Florida hotel rooms at the Independent

"The staff were all so nice and friendly and very helpful also. You can. It get any closer to the beach than this place, it’s awesome. The room was large and very clean, with a large tv, a microwave, small fridge And a coffee maker. Perfect"

"Upon arrival the rooms were extremely dirty the floors were full of sand. There bedding sheets look like they were not cleaned. The showers had mold growing on curtains. We were not able to sit outside due to the extreme amount of bugs."

"So after coming to visit my parents for 45 years, we sprays had a place to stay but secretly wanted to stay at The Gibson Inn. Finally was able to stay and when we opened the door to our room, I literally gasped from the unexpected beauty of the room. Newly updated and marble flooring throughout, amenities were well thought out including the snack of a Snickers Bar staring at you the entire time at $5. Not for me. But pool and hot tub close at 8pm sadly not allowing any time for us to enjoy with just a single night’s stay. Food selection was very tasty and the vibe screams, “Relax and Enjoy Yourself”. Beds, fantastic!!!"

"The he beach view was ok. We arrived after 10?pm and were greated with a letter and a room key. Thank goodness we were not elderly as our room was on the third floor with small steps on the outside to access it. I know it sounds petty but there was a half of roll of toilet paper and no extra available. The pictures on line where not exactly what was actually there. "

"Thought I was booking a family run old hotel. Turned out no staff on site, needed app to open door, room ceiling leaked into my suitcase, broken arm on couch in lobby, porch furniture was dirty, internet went down so key app did not work, smelled moldy, etc. very disappointing."

"Parking and outside was lit up with lights, the lady at the desk was real nice and friendly. Even people staying there was real nice. "
