“L’Antico Pozzo never disappoints. This is our second time staying here, and the only way to see San Gimignano. While the tourist hordes overrun the town, sit in their quiet courtyard and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a bottle of wine, then walk to all of the towns attractions in the evening when the buses have all gone. Matteo was a great host, rooms are clean, comfortable and roomy. Location is tough to beat, just a short walk from the parking outside the city walls. ”

“This is a beautiful property with an unusually accommodating staff. They took me to my event which was a few kilometers away and picked me up free of charge. Also, they arranged a ride for me back to the train station. They made everything very easy and stress free! ”

“The room was clean and rustic, super cute and original. Carmela was friendly and always welcoming. Carmela's cooking was exquisite and original. Every night she made a different menu with typical tuscan appetizers, pasta with yummy sauces like pappardelle al cinghiale, second courses with delicious meats and vegetables or potatoes. Her desserts were delicious like the tiramisu'. The wine selection and grappa was great. Breakfast was abundant with juice, homemade yougurt, scramble, eggs,...

“Such a nice breakfast out on the patio. Quiet, peaceful. Took a dip in the pool which is gorgeous.. unfortunately weather not super warm during our visit but still enjoyed a refreshing dip! Loved our hike to SanGimingnano. Be aware that this is kind of a remote property, but it is beautiful and peaceful. Its up a windy dirt road. We stayed for dinner two nights and enjoyed the property and hiking. Very nice and helpful staff.”
