“Such a nice breakfast out on the patio. Quiet, peaceful. Took a dip in the pool which is gorgeous.. unfortunately weather not super warm during our visit but still enjoyed a refreshing dip! Loved our hike to SanGimingnano. Be aware that this is kind of a remote property, but it is beautiful and peaceful. Its up a windy dirt road. We stayed for dinner two nights and enjoyed the property and hiking. Very nice and helpful staff.”

“주변 환경이 너무 아름답습니다. 들어오는 입구부터 아기자기한 정원과 뒷편에 수영장도 있고 그 주변에 놓은 테이블과 선베드에 앉아서 보는 석양도 기가막힙니다. 주변에 드넓은 초원이 토스카나에 왔다는 느낌을 받게 해줍니다. 아침에 일출도 절대 빼놓을수가 없어요. 방도 스위트로 했는데 다이닝 공간이 매우 넓어서, 주변 소도시에서 먹을것들을 사와서 와인과 먹기에도 좋습니다. 와인도 구비되어있어서 사올 필요가 없어요.(물론 돈을 내고 먹어야되죠) 이 곳은 꼭 숙소에서 시간을 보내야 하는 곳입니다 :)”

“The staff at the front desk were exceptional with their assistance. It was above and beyond. And the rooftop breakfast was very good. The staff were eager and happy to assist. The evening cocktail hour on the rooftop was very pleasant. And once again the staff were great. ”

“Wunderschönes Hotel im alten Kohlebergwerk. Etwas abgeschieden, dafür aber die totale Ruhe. Wir haben super geschlafen! Das Abendessen kann man im Freien geniessen, gute Auswahl und lecker gekocht. Unbedingt jeweils am Morgen reservieren! Einziger Negativpunkt: Das Personal ist beim Frühstück überfordert, da man als Gast nichts selber schöpfen darf. So entstehen Wartezeiten. ”

“L’Antico Pozzo never disappoints. This is our second time staying here, and the only way to see San Gimignano. While the tourist hordes overrun the town, sit in their quiet courtyard and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a bottle of wine, then walk to all of the towns attractions in the evening when the buses have all gone. Matteo was a great host, rooms are clean, comfortable and roomy. Location is tough to beat, just a short walk from the parking outside the city walls. ”
