"staff is outstanding. Special thanks to Antonio and Alex. They know the area very well and accommodated requests quickly and professionally. Cleaning staff also excellent. Breakfast is very good, and Anna helped me with my Italian as she did last time we stayed. Ground floor rooms pick up lobby noise and conversations but upper floor rooms are quiet and well appointed. Y only suggestion, and it is minor, is that more that 2 coffee pods be provided per night per room. More were provided upon request. I will definitely stay here again, and again."

"Nice clean room in the "annexe" overlooking an enclosed patio. Breakfast was nice, usual "continental" type with excellent choices and unlimited coffee!!"

"Close to water taxi and all attractions. We walked everywhere. Breakfast was simple but good. They packed us boxes on the day we checked out early. Excellent and helpful staff. Only issue was room as a bit small with stair landings inside. Bathroom space was tight as well, but it was super clean and extremely quiet as there are no vehicles in the center. "

"Great location right in the heart of Venice, with most attractions within walking distance. It is a little far from the train and bus station, but you can take the water bus to a nearby stop and walk from there. Just allow extra time, as waiting for the boat can slow things down. The hotel has a lot of charm, although it does feel a little old-fashioned. The wooden floors mean you can hear people walking around above you if you are not staying on the top floor. My room had a balcony with a lovely view, which was a nice bonus. A few things to note: there was no kettle in the room due to fire safety reasons, and no coffee or complimentary water provided. There was also only soap and no shower gel, which may not suit everyone. Breakfast was included and enough to fill you up before going out, but it was quite basic. Apart from boiled eggs, there was no other hot food. Overall, I would still recommend staying here for the excellent location and character of the property."
