"Food was excellent "

"I have stayed at this hotel 3 times, it was bad but I kept going because of the staff at the restaurant, they were very friendly and helpful but staying last weekend was horrifying, amiss the bad weather and the fact that this hotel is in the middle of nowhere, bar and restaurant was closed and with no warning. I managed to book myself in a family room 😩, it was two single beds joined together with the most thinnest mattress, it felt as if you were lying on an empty spring bed. Fair enough the room was just been refurbished but only the walls and bathroom, bed was crap "

"Room had mould around windows and bathroom shower screen. Shower head not cleaned as very rusted. Toilet was very loose and grime around where it’s had previous silicon around it. Heavy dust on shelves as well as spider webs around windows. Hairs on bed. Not ours and got a hair in my breakfast pancakes. Again not mine as it was pulled back into a bun. Reported to staff. Was assured someone would contact me. They never did. The wedding I was attending was good apart from spelling the newly wedded couples name incorrectly "

"Wonderful stay. Room was large and bed comfortable. Leisure facilities were very good and relaxing after travelling. Breakfast and dinner food was excellent."

"Friendly check in, room comfortable for a few nights. Stayed in a king size bed, which was two singles pushed together making the central of the bed rather uncomfortable l. Other than that. A great stay and the restaurants food was lovely"

"Had a lovely stay. Breakfast staff were attentive and very friendly. Breakfast was cooked to order and arrived quickly.The leisure suite is a bit tired (jacuzzi was out of action, and looked like it had been for a while) however, this did not detract from the overall relaxed vibe of a charming old hotel. We would stay again."
