"We needed a hotel close to the CTA airport and Palazzo Sangiorgio is exactly that, about 15 minutes away. It's not in a glamorous location and the hotel is not at a luxury level, but it's clean, well managed, peaceful and quiet. Everything in our room worked perfectly and we were easily able to park to unload our luggage, drive to the airport to drop of our bags and return so we would not need to stress returning the car before an early morning flight. The hotel is an easy walk to the main Piazza, shopping and dozens of restaurants. Catania is not a particularly beautiful city, but worth a stroll and surprisingly busy with tourists. The hotel thoughtfully had a bag packed with breakfast food when we checked out at 6 a.m. as the breakfast room did not open until 7."
