"The staff were friendly, helpful and supportive. The room was fairly decent, I wish the sliding door worked properly and the curtains needed to be cleaned or replaced. It looked to have black
mold on the top part of the curtains and the turning curtain poles. The patio most definitely needed some TLC. The carpet looked outdated. The view of the habor and looking down onto the city were the highlight during my stay. The bed was comfortable and clean. The couch was comfortable as well. Overall, I enjoyed my stay."
"This is the first time I’ve stayed at a red roof Inn. My husband has used them before for town business trips .He said it was the cleanest one he’s ever stayed in . The room was clean except for the ice bucket and when we first got there, the room had a musky smell, but went away after we turned the air conditioner on. The young lady at the front desk was really helpful and polite. we did not partake in the breakfast since we were not allowed to bring it back to our room."
"I was pleasantly surprised to find this newer hotel in close proximity to Memorial Hospital. I cannot speak highly enough of the courteous and friendly staff. Everyone we encountered on our short stay was warm and welcoming.
I do not believe in all of my years traveling that I’ve ever stayed in a room with two king sized beds, but what a plus that is for those of us who have larger families. Everyone can stay together! Room was enormous and immaculate as well as the bathroom.
I wish I could remember the name of the precious lady cooking omelettes, but she made you feel so at home. She was happy, peppy, and just-a-singing while she cooked. Honestly, many folks who stay in this area of Savannah are either here for work(away from family) or here for some level of medical care. Friendly faces in a homey environment truly can make all the difference in the world when you’re facing difficult circumstances.It felt like grandma’s kitchen.
The ONLY critique I have is that there was no meat option for breakfast unless it was in an omelet and the layout of food/drinks/dishes could use a more cohesive flow.
A++ from our family!"
