The room ceiling had water stains n mold spots. Really cheap n old property but not well maintained. We try to have all our rooms ready for check in at least by 3pm, looks like we failed you in this area. Regarding the cat and dog in the office area, this should never happen, although we are pet friendly there should never be personal pets in the office unless a service animal. Please accept my sincere apologies for this happening to you. The little property is many decades old, and we have weathered many hurricanes and catastrophic. storms, however we always bounce back with the mighty faith to move forward. Hello there,Oh my goodness is my first thought as I read your comments. First thing I would like to mention is I know the exact room in this photo, it is room 203 with a balcony overlooking the sunset. I promise you we have just installed new flooring in every other room on the second floor except this one. We are getting to this one as soon as possible. I realize this is a little late for you. We are continuing renovations every day making efforts to maintain the place physically and to provide a comfortable place for our valued guests. I am very sorry you had to experience this. We have a certified pool guy that maintains the pool levels, and it is always spot on. It may have been a weather problem with the rain, but I assure you the pool is never as you explained. Please give us another chance and allow us to grovel you into acceptance and believe in us once again. We have a policy that if one of our guests calls us for something, or has a problem with anything during their stay, we will take care of it within minutes. We are many decades old, and have weathered many hurricanes and catastrophic storms, but we always bounce back with the attitude of moving forward. I agree the views are epic whether you have the Sunset side or the sunrise. We replace our beddings quarterly and everyone once in a while we might run low in the laundry and use one of the older comforters. Either way I assure you cleanliness and honest efforts. I agree with the Ice Machine, we have had some issues with the new machine purchased, and we are now in the process of replacing and making other arrangements; however, in the event the machine is down, our front desk staff will get you ice if possible. We honor every guest request within minutes. It is our sincere goal to make you comfortable and for you to have a great experience in Old Florida. Hello there,at first blush, I had to take a deep breath and decide how I was going to grovel my way out of this one. I would hope you know this is not what you would ordinarily experience at the little Beach Front Motel. Having to wait in the office for help then when we do help it is not efficient. There are a millions reasons I could sit here and try to explain however, the most important issue is the fact you were not satisfied. The wait, the keys, the towels are all part of the motels operations, and I wish to sincerely apologize and ask your forgiveness. We are in the process of training new staff, and during this time we let you down. I am not sure the reason for not getting the larger suite you had reserved, unless a previous guest decided to not leave and we had no other choice. This very seldom happens, and we reserve the right to enforce their departure. This runs into red tape in several areas. I hope the King Suite you did receive worked nicely. I know these balcony suites have a stunning view of the sunset and the Sun-rise. Hello there,well, at first glance it started great with a million dollar view. Yes, the staff will do anything possible to help the guests have a comfortable stay. We just had curtains specifically made for the hotel and in the process of getting them up. A good coat of paint makes everything look better, that is why we have maintenance, always with paint and a brush. Our simple philosophy is, if we cannot clean it we will paint it. smiling I am trying to keep a good rapport by being humorous. We really care about our guests and make every effort to make your stay great, and to leave our place having made precious memories. Hello there and good morning?I opened the computer this morning to find this horrible complaint looking at me! At first blush, I thought, no this must be a mistake. I see you found the sheets not clean, bathroom was not clean, and the pool was green.We are trying to process this note and make amends to you with answers. First of all, there is no answer could make this situation correct. The swimming pool is maintained 24/7 with a certified pool attendant, and even if we had a torrential rainstorm (which we have experienced for the past few days) the pool could not have turned green this fast, so we are taking action right now. The room being unclean falls under a non-acceptable category along with the room not being ready for you until 6pm. These things have created a great sense of regretful apologies and are things that I am at fault and will take full responsibility. I can assure you none of these issues are tolerated under our management and we will take action at the property level to make certain this cannot and will not happen again. Moving forward, in the future please alert our guest services immediately when something monumental like this occurs. We have staff on duty 24 hours per day for emergencies, and for general thing needs we will take care of any problem within minutes after we are alerted. I am heartbroken you had to go through this, however the staff I give you our most sincere apologies. We are simply the little Beach Front Motel a three star located on the corner of a rocky water beach. However, we have the best fishing in the area, and the most stunning sunsets and sun rises in the State (yes, my opinion) smiling.We represent Old Florida, we have comfortable rooms and a sparkling clear swimming pool facing directly to the sunset with no obstructions.
