"Our stay here was amazing. We did a staycation for my daughter’s 5th birthday. Staff was nice & polite. Although parking is a little high & a little complicated, everything else we enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious as well, room service was also fast. "

"The shower handle was broken and missing the backing that holds it on the glass door. It was just sitting in the hole and came completely off when I went to get in the shower. Notified the front but no one came to fix it. The white sheer curtain to the window was full of holes/ripped, and had brown stains all over it. The couch also had many stains on it, the walls were dirty and needed cleaning. Whoever was in charge of cleaning that room did a horrible job and should have noticed all of the things mentioned that needed repair and reported to management. I notified the front and showed them all the videos and pictures of the things wrong with the room and all they did was say sorry, did not try to rectify the issues. For $250 a night, I should have been offered some kind of refund or points towards future stays."

"Pros: Convenient location for Symphony Hall. Lots of great dining within an easy walk. The suite was large and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Cons: Getting into the valet parking area was a challenge because of a back-up and a long wait to turn in. We got stuck out in the street with cars blowing their horns behind us. Not the attendant's fault as he was working alone. The room had an unpleasant odor but looked clean enough. We were on the eight floor and the street noise at night was very loud. "

"We booked an upgraded room on a Sunday. When we arrived around 2 pm (an hour before checkin), the room was not ready. Normally at a Kimpton, the front desk manager would have gotten us in within 15 minutes which is roughly the time needed to clean a room. Nobody else was waiting. An hour later, the room was not available and we asked to speak with the manager. She got us into our room in five minutes and took our bags up since we had to run out the door. This was an unexpected and terrible experience. When we returned at 10 pm, there was NO front desk person and we needed toiletries. Operations were very disappointing."

"Linen smelled, carpet in room smelled and needed deep cleaning, “looked clean” but smelled otherwise; hotel staff notified. older hotel that needs to invest in commercial tower scent. Lobby smelt old"

"I arrived to check in, I told the clerk that I made reservations through a 3rd party merchant. As I was checking in, I received a notification from my bank asking am I authorizing a payment of such amount. I was charged the incidence fee and for three nights. I immediately said you’re charging me twice. I was very upset because now the charges had to stay on my card until I was checking out. I couldn’t make any purchases the entire trip. The incidence fee was $150 and the stay charge $717.72. And to top that off, the rooms are very dark all the lamps had small to no bulbs. I opened the curtains for light and my view was a concrete wall with hardly any light. Rm 234 I will never stay no more!!"
