The staff were lovely and helpful. The room needs plates and cutlery for people eating in their room. It’s an old run down historical hotel but that gives it some charm too. But if you’re looking for peace and quiet this isn’t the place."

" I had a concerning experience during our stay. The room doors shut very quickly and forcefully, which can be dangerous—especially for children. Unfortunately, my daughter’s finger got stuck in the door. Thankfully, she wasn’t injured very badly, but it was a very scary moment for us. I strongly recommend the hotel consider installing soft-closing mechanisms or safety features to prevent such incidents in the future. This would make the environment much safer for families with young children. Otherwise, we had a very good experience overall and enjoyed our stay."
