“This was a very relaxing stay for us. We live and work in the Willamette Valley. We usually vacation in Lincoln County or the Wallowas, but we wanted a change. This definitely was a great change of scene with interesting local shops and readily available hikes and drives—not to mention Bend. Rooms were surprisingly luxurious and well-appointed. The bath—water coming down from ceiling—was particularly gorgeous, but it took a minute to figure out how to drain it. Breakfast is recommended....

We fell in love with this small town, which gives off a small town vibe like Telluride & Ouray....and filled with the nicest people you could want to meet. My wife and I mentioned during our stay how Ponderosa Lodge had become our favorite hotel...not to mention the Alpaca herd just a couple hundred feet from...
