“We have stayed here on multiple occasions, and overall we would recommend the INN ON THE RIVER to anyone wishing to explore and experience the Woodstock/Queche Vermont area. The atmosphere and decor of the inn is topnotch. There is some maintenance/upkeep work to be done on the inn's exterior wooden structures, especially at the back of the inn facing the river (re:sanding and re-staining). “The place was a gem. What a beautiful view of the lake. The manager at the lodge was so helpful and friendly. This truly was a relaxing and fun stay. We plan to definitely come back. We had such a got time meeting new people and spending time outside by the fire and watching the lake and the great views.”

Instead, this place is old, dilapidated, poorly maintained and in need of major updates, if that is even possible. It's an old wooden fire trap.
