“We adored our stay at this little B&B in Limeray. Antoine was a gracious and fun host to have—we availed ourselves of his offer of dinner (with a reasonable surcharge per guest) on the first night of our stay, and the breakfast both mornings was generous in size and perfect as a start for a day in the Loire Valley. The suite, La Longere, with its long hallway and quirky angles, was incredibly charming and perfect for our family of five—three comfortable single beds for them and a larger queen...

“The staff are wonderful. I wish check in hours weren’t so limited - we arrived earlier than expected and wanted to drop off our bags, but had to wait around in the car a long time (since we didn’t want to leave our luggage unattended) until the check in hour that begins at 5p, since the doors are locked and no one answered the door until then. Also wish that they had AC- it was pretty hot during our stay.”

“Charming B&B in a small village, run by a lovely Dutch host. The room was big and fortunately had aircon, which was vital during the heatwave. For a small extra charge (around €30), you can get a 3-course dinner cooked by the host, which was delicious, and served outside in the courtyard. Breakfast was also served in the courtyard and was plentiful to start the day. There is a village car park (free) next door to the B&B and had plenty of spaces.”

Accueillis vers 21 h avec le sourire, nous avons découvert un lieu paisible entouré d'animaux (chevaux, moutons, poules, perroquets, chats...). “The owners, Gaelle and Bruno, are grand hosts and are charming. This visit was our second, and if we return to Amboise, we will stay there again. The rooms in the manor house are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is a must. Our hosts provided recommendations for dinner that were not tourist oriented, and helped us schedule a taxi to the railway station.”

“I cannot recommend this manor enough! Aude and Rob are wonderful, kind, welcoming hosts. The property is a meticulously maintained 17th century royal estate, with horses and llamas and owls and giant sequoia trees and beaucoup French country charm! Every morning we were greeted with fresh bread from an award winning bakery, an assortment of homemade jams, hot coffee, orange juice, perfectly ripe fruit and a variety of French cheeses.
