"Other near by towns seemed to have more to offer, rather small quiet area, which if this is what you are after then perfect. The hotel was great, as were the staff. However, the gym facilities were not as expected - looked okay but a lot of the kit was damaged/old/not working properly "

The pool closes at night at 10 , but on all nights except for the first night, there were families with kids in the pool at 12am and one night it was 1am. I was awakened by the playful screams of small children. This was the most uncomfortable experience here.
