"Good hotel for a very reasonable price. Good shopping and restaurant nearby as well as easy access to public transit. The only thing worth mentioning is that, while everything is clean, it would benefit from some basic maintenance: the sink was not draining properly, lamps and outlets were damaged but still functional, and the PC in my room had a depleted BIOS battery. None was these things were essential but all of if could be fixed easily."

"This hotel is in an excellent location, with all three palaces within easy reach, along with numerous local restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Getting around Seoul by taxi was also very convenient. Every staff member, including the housekeeping team, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Seoul!"

"This was my first time booking accommodation in Seoul, as I usually stay at my family’s house. I didn’t know what to expect before checking into this property, but the experience was disappointing. On the 4th floor, there were 42 extremely small rooms, closets would be a more accurate description. Each measured about 2m x 3m, with no windows, and included a tiny shower. If you suffer from claustrophobia, this setup would be unbearable. The kitchen offered food throughout the day: eggs, bread, cheese, bologna, butter, jam, juice, Coke, 7-Up, Chapagetti, and Samyang ramen. There were some old apples, but once they were gone, the staff said they wouldn’t be restocked from the farm. The biggest issue was the management. At check-in, the manager was overly casual and failed to explain the amenities or house rules clearly. For example, when we washed dishes and left them on the drying rack, he told us we should have put them away. He insisted he had explained this rule, but he hadn’t. His micromanaging style made us feel uncomfortable. We had booked and paid for three nights, but after the first day we decided to move to another hotel as soon as our schedule allowed."

"This boutique hotel was so cute, with a very young vibe (we are late 50s traveling with a 19 and 21 year old) The reviews said there was no elevator, but there was indeed an elevator! The desk staff was super friendly and helpful always. You have to ask to have the room cleaned or if you need towels, more toilet paper etc. but that was easy enough to do. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. AC was heavenly. Super great feature: free ramen bar in the basement! Also a little karaoke booth where our girls paid 1000 won (67 cents) per song and had a blast singing to their favorite K-pop songs. Our favorite front desk staff guy actually treated them to two free songs to get them started. He was amazing-I wish we had gotten his name. So kind and friendly and helpful. A note about the surrounding area-it looked a little “gritty” when we arrived; it’s in a warren of back alleyways and there was trash piled up and honestly we were a little concerned at first. HOWEVER… it turned out to be a great little neighborhood with tons of restaurants and coffee shops and a 7-11 very close (you must have a 7-11 near your hotel trust me). Also very close to the Gwangjang Market. Very safe super authentic area. We loved everything about this hotel and would definitely stay here again!"

"Check in was fast and easy. The room was clean and as depicted in the photos. Close to the Korea University where I was able to visit my daughter. Convenient and easy to get around. I enjoyed the included breakfast. Check out was easy. I appreciate the ability to store my luggage until I can catch my flight. I wish check in could be earlier since 4pm appears late to me."
