"Positives. Spacious room. Very clean. Great sea view. Helpful and friendly staff. Well located for St Helier and beyond. Large car park. Could improve. Shower water pressure weak. Access to and from the car park onto the coast road awkward and poorly signposted. Just be mindful that the function room can be noisy over the weekend late into the evening and noise travels!!"

"Lovely breakfast very good choice and no problem if you wanted porridge or scrambled eggs . Room good size overlooking the pool. Very clean and fresh towels every day. A nice stroll maybe 10 minutes into the centre of the town. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Would definitely return if we decide to go back to Jersey"

"We stayed 5 days in the suite at the Merton Hotel. What a fabulous stay we’ve had. The staff were fabulous as was the food. Everyone was friendly, helpful and happy throughout our stay. The room was fabulous too with a lovely balcony overlooking the bay. Thank you"

"We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. It has an amazing position overlooking the sea. The staff could not have been more welcoming or more helpful which created a warm atmosphere throughout our stay. Breakfast was varied and delicious."

"Charming, friendly staff. Comfortable well appointed accommodation, though room in older part of building a little “tired “ in some areas. Excellent choice at breakfast exceeds the norm for this grade of hotel. Shuttle bus to/fro town is a very welcome extra in this hilly location."

"Hotel was immaculately clean, staff were super friendly, delicious breakfast and a good choice of evening meals. Lovely gardens, with a brilliant swimming pool and hot tub. Films and entertainment in the evenings. Although out of town, the courtesy bus and public buses were close and frequent. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the hotel."
