"Great traditional hotel not far from Victor Hugo's house. If you are walking, it is up a steep hill, but so to is much of St Peter Port! The welcome was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast each morning in the restaurant."

"The communal areas were smart but rooms were tired and in need of an upgrade, particularly they need air conditioning especially those facing the road where it is very noisy if you need to keep the windows open. Whilst generally tidy/ clean the shower head badly needed descaling as it only worked to half capability and spayed everywhere. We asked for a change of room after the first night . The staff were extremely helpful in sorting this. We ate in the restaurant twice where there was a pleasant ambience with tasty food and good service. Breakfast was ok but disappointing that only tinned fruit was set out. The pool area was also a good place to relax."

"Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful and the rooms were immaculate. However, the hotel was a bit dated and would benefit from a bit of a refurb. The pool area was a good size with plenty sunbeds but a bit unkempt with weeds around the paving however it didnt stop us spending most of the day there once or twice. We enjoyed our stay and was good"
