I like that the man at the front desk and maintenance guy was good. However, the area is sketchy. I did not too much mind it, but I had family with me. It is not a safe place just to walk around the hotel or walk to the nearby restaurants.

It was in a good location for restaurants and shopping. The hotel itself could work on dealing with the extermination of the roaches. Other than that it was a quiet and pleasant area.

The man at the front desk was very nice and respectful and it was quite quiet at night time, it was clean and had blankets and they were clean the stay was very pleasant and I will be staying there again!!

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable my first night was awesome. Garbage needs to be done more often and house keeping left a huge bag of dirty something right outside my door along with an ice bucket. Pool needs lots of work hand rail isn’t even sturdy and a few other things needs repair. Second night noisy people had to have front desk take care of it not your fault some people shouldn’t be allowed in public.

The property was nothing like the photos on the Internet. Most troubling was the noise outside my door at night, and while the pillow and bed allowed for a good night's sleep, the look and feel of the hotel was ancient and badly in need of upgrades. For one night I can sleep almost anywhere, but I would think twice about having my family come with me.

The lock was coming unscrewed from the door. I had a screwdriver and fixed my door. The room had a smell. People running up and down noisy at night. I did not feel safe!!The refrigerator in my room worked great. The morning coffee was good

The smell of Marijuana was overpowering, my husband and I don't do drugs or anything but you can smell it when you get on the property and when you walk out of your room. The only good thing was rhe beds was comfortable but the furniture, fridge and microwave was ready for the dumpster. The staff was wonderful, location was good but getting in and out of the property you had to take your life in your own hands it was scary at best.

Garbage

The room was smoke free but the bed smelled like smoke and there were cigarette burn marks in the sheet. The propery had garbage everywhere. Garbage on the steps including a bloody tissue. Shopping carts with bags of garbage. Bags of garbage and garbage everywhere. The breakfast was disappointing. Juice was like water. Gnats in the bread/muffin case. I have never had to write such a bad review. The employees were nice and helpful.

Bed bugs!!!!!!

The hotel was filthy on the outside. grossest experience I have ever encountered in all my years of hotel stays. These pictures make me nauseous. The bed was infested with these huge bed bugs. The entire room looked like the roof had caved in and was falling apart. Needless to say we never let anything but our feet touch the floor!!! Hotels customer Service, however was on point once we contacted and sent pictures they refunded my money and we were able to get another hotel room.

The app says this location would have a fitness room, one of the amenities I wanted. They do not, I was told they had never had one. My room looked like it was under current construction, the bath didn't drain so a shower turned into a 2-4 inch bath. The curtain rod was barely hanging on so there was water all over the floor after my shower. There was no bathmat either. The desk clerk was very friendly. Breakfast the next morning was nearly gone by the time I popped in around 9:00 with nothing but cereal, 3 bread heels and some muffins.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent hotel stay booked through your platform. This is the second time I’ve booked a room through your site that was in completely unacceptable condition — the room had not been cleaned, there was water all over the floor, and I even found cockroaches. This experience is not only deeply disappointing but also raises serious health and safety concerns. Hotels in this condition should not be listed on your platform at all. I trusted your service to provide safe and clean accommodations, and this experience has shaken that trust. I am requesting a full refund for this stay and would also appreciate it if you could investigate the hotel in question to ensure that other customers don’t have to go through this. Please respond as soon as possible regarding how you intend to resolve this.

Unsafe and Unpleasant – Avoid This motel I booked two rooms at this motel but left without staying because of the terrible conditions. From the moment I arrived, I felt uneasy. There were multiple people loitering around the property, many appearing to be vagrants, creating an unsafe atmosphere. The lobby was overcrowded, dimly lit, and unclean. Several ceiling lights were out, adding to the rundown appearance, and the front desk staff was shockingly rude and unprofessional. As I walked to my rooms, I encountered more concerning activity, including individuals who appeared to be engaged in solicitation. The property was poorly monitored, and the environment did not feel safe. The final straw was walking through a thick cloud of marijuana and drug smoke in the parking lot—right outside other guest rooms. This hotel is not just neglected; it feels unsafe and poorly managed. If you value cleanliness, security, and a welcoming environment, I strongly recommend finding somewhere else to stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE

After booking online, I was horrified at the condition of the entire hotel. The outside of the building showed damaged vents, garbage cans overflowing and poor maintenance. The front desk clerk sat behind a plexiglass partition. She was polite and cordial. That was the highlight of my interaction with Ecnolodge North. When I was given my pass keys to the room, the clerk said, "They're should be a microwave and a fridge in your room. If they are not there, let me know and I will have one brought up to you." (Cue Red Flag) Went into the room and when I moved the curtains, they fell down off the hooks. The floors did not look clean at all with the corners of the room having black mold and buildup that looked as if it had been there for months. There were holes in the walls. Microwave was punched in, and I didnt dare open the fridge. Upon entering the bathroom, the tub/shower was not clean, there were black stains in the corners of the bathroom, & rust stains on the walls. I went to call the front desk. When searching for the phone, I found it in the nightstand drawer. Between the phone a and the Bible I found what looked to be human excretions....white... that was it. I marched down to the front desk and stated there was NO WAY I could stay here with my child. Never again, will I trust the reviews from online sites. I WILL RESEARCH the reviews via google away from whatever app I happen to use.

Not recommended to stay here .

We checked in just fine . Got our keys then left to get food and drinks for dinner and Sat . Got back to room and hour later and the room was disgusting !! Blood stains ,cigarette burns , on overall dirty sheets , liquid inside microwave , didnt look like bathroom was clean either . Spoke to lady at front desk tried giving me another room which was as bad as 1st . Maint guy came looked at room agreed about being dirty . We handed him rooms keys and said we are NOT staying here . Which , I , also told lady at front desk . Now , I , see my card is being charged entire amount plus additional $50 when we didnt stay !

Do not stay here

The only positive in this experience was the lady at the front desk. She was most helpful and extremely friendly. The nightmare started when we got to the room. The room was filthy. There was months worth of dirt in the bathroom floor/trim. The shower had multiple hairs everywhere. The bathroom walls were stained and splattered with god knows what. The light in the bathroom had not been cleaned since installed.... The shower curtain rod was broken and would not hold the curtain closed. Water splashed into the floor... However this was a good thing.. it at least loosed the filthy and dirt. The floors in the room had not been swept and had grit all over them. The sink faucet was partially attached. Blankets had holes. We had 1 wash cloth and 1 bath towel for 2 people. Again, check in with the lady was great. She was amazingly friendly and welcoming.... It was just the condition and maintenance of the room that was extremely poor.

Breakfast only had two cereal options juice dispenser was only working for the apple juice the oj was coming out as water. The pool was closed everyday of my stay. Was told day one was due to cleaning and the other day due to rain. I could understand if there was lightning storm but just having rain falling out of the sky didn't make sense to close the pool since you get wet in a pool water from the sky wouldn't make a difference to me. The staff I dealt with was very friendly. The bathroom of the room I stayed in badly had a cracked shower ledge. Overall I give it two stars.

The room was suppose to be non smoking and there was cigarette butts and a smell in the room. Hole in the wall and I wasn’t asked for ID when checked in I felt very unsafe
