TARA the front desk clerk is absolutely amazing! She is very courteous and friendly. She brightens my day and always goes above and beyond what it takes to ensure that my stay is the most pleasurable. She always makes sure that my needs are met no matter what. As long as Tara is employed here, I will definitely recommend this Motel 6 for those who are looking for a nice place to stay while visiting the Charlotte Northlake area.

When I checked in the receptionist gave me a room that was occupied. I opened the door and someone was sleeping in one bed and the room was trashed. I was given another room and it was mediocre. Patched holes in the walls not painted, refrigerator was nonexistent and the room smelled like the previous guest smoked a bunch of pot in it

This is legit the best motel 6 and probably the only motel 6 I will ever stay at more than one time. It’s actually modern and updated, even the smoking rooms, cause I get so sick of the smoking ones being outdated!! Why even have them if you are gonna do that. The owner is even nice and laid back! He’s so professional for a motel 6 I was amazed. There was a mishap with affirm and the search engine changing wrong date when booked he was even willing to just give me my money back so I could rebook! He then worked hard to make sure I was able to book it again (took multiple calls but he was willing to help). Its near a lot of stores, food, and gas stations!! The only thing I didn’t like is they keep the towels. When I asked they brought me some but it was two very small towels for two people so I know they probably have an issue but if someone is there from out of state like I was from Wi, you may wanna at least ask how many we would like before we get to the room. I need to shower after a long trip and I’m a women and need multiple lol!

Expedia states rooms come with Microwave and coffee maker. No rooms have Microwave, Coffee maker or a Refrigerator. Day 1, they sent us to a room with extremely soiled floor-stains, gum, food, dust, etc. We complained and the moved us to better room. Day 2, room next to us had a loud party that went on until 1:00am. Day 3, they sent us to another room after we complained. That room had dirty bathroom floor which they came and cleaned. Smoke detector in next room had a dying battery. We told multiple staff but never fixed. Third room still had bugs on floor between furniture and no towel rods. Awful place. They should close and complete renovations, at least before they begin offering rooms.

J'ai reserveé non fumeur 3 étoiles mais il n'y avait pas de chambres non fumeurs. Le Sunset nous a offert une chambre chez le Days Inn voisin au même prix mais l'état de la chambre était pitoyable. Le plancher n'avait pas été nettoyer depuis très longtemps. Le mobilier viellot. Nous souhaitons seulement ne pas avoir rapporté de souvenir non désirés dans nos bagages.

It was a dump. Construction on the building going on, refuse everywhere, couldn't park near room. Paint peeling from ceiling, AC stopped working, bed very old and discolored, no light by the bathroom sink so you couldn't see anything in the mirror. Breakfast--there was 2 pieces of wheat bread and 4 slices raisin bread, and half a gallon of milk. It was only 8 a.m. Never again. :-(

We arrived and were told they were giving us a smoker room and that all their rooms were smoker rooms I explained my daughter and granddaughter had allergies and we could not accept this room. Expedia contacted the hotel to be able to get our money returned. Listen to the tape of the hotel clerk saying after having sex people smoke in their rooms, made me sick to my stomach. I called Expedia to rebook up a room and was put on hold and never did get them to get us another room in Charlotte. I asked for a supervisor and was again put on hold only to be called and put back on hold. It was a very upsetting experience from the nasty hotel to how Expedia was not helpful, we finally got a hotel room on our own I had my daughter and my 2 small grandchildren with me and was worried about their health considering them going into a smokers room.

The motel was not as advertised. Pictures of motel are out dayed. This motel is OLD AND DIRTY. The manager billy is horrible. The rooms were filthy sheet dirty mold on the walls tub and bathroom were disgusting. Asked for refund and i was told that i could not have a refund. Do not stay here. Please be aware that this motel is nothing like in the pictures.
