The staff was excellent & was able to work with me to better fit my pets needs. The bed was not that comfy & noticed hair on the pillows. The microwave handle was broken. The curtains didn’t close all the way. Overall, It was okay for a one night stay, but would not stay here again.

Such wonderful staff!

I will visit this hotel every time I come to this area simply because of the wonderful friendly staff. Cynthia in the breakfast room was one of the sweetest people I've ever met in my life. I will come back there specifically to see her.

I didn't like that the dryer is $1.50 for 38 mins and my clothes was wasn't dry at all. Everything came out very damp. I was extremely disappointed to have to take home damp clothes in a suitcase back to NYC.

This place was solid overall. Shower water pressure was amazing. The only downside was the fire alarm went off once at 7pm and then again at 7am the next morning. Just tedious since it took over a minute to turn off what were both false alarms.

Dirtiest hotel we have stayed in - the room was not clean at all - after a stay here I ended up with a respiratory infection and I truly think it was from the room we stayed in - The breakfast was fabulous though and Ms. Cynthia the cook was so helpful and welcoming. She made our morning great! She was the only good thing about staying here.

Served our purpose in staying one night in the lake Norman/birkdake area but a bit expensive. Rooms dated but ok. USB ports next to bed didn’t work for me. A steep $100 fee for dogs accidentally double charged but front desk staff, who were super nice, took it off when notified.

This is a disappointing Residence Inn. The room is damp from humidity. Sheets feel wet. A/C was turned off on arrival. Kitchen cabinets were well worn.

The property is in a great location and very easy to find. The staff is friendly and breakfast was decent. The hotel exterior is in desperate need of pressure washing and maintenance. The hallways and elevator carpet/floors were very dirty and smelled bad. Our room was put together nicely, but very dirty and lacked preventative maintenance. It all presented itself as a hotel that was in need of an owner/management that cares. The door handles, doors, light fixtures, inside of toilets were very dirty. My family and I had to clean the room and spray the bedding and couch before we sat down and placed our items. I was very disappointed as this is not what I expected from Residences Inn.
