โStunning property.
A little warning to travellers: there is Nothing to do there and no where to eat nearby except for Caudalie, which was booked out every night and day. So unless you are happy to travel every night around 30 minutes, prepare yourself for dining on sandwiches.
Other than that the property is lovely โ
โSo - when we arrived, the manager Nicolas was amazing. We were early, no problemโฆ he gave us a newly refurbished room which whilst small was excellent. We asked about going into Bordeaux and he spend time talking us through how best to do it, where to go etc. he couldnโt do enough for us and all with a smile. Breakfast was fabulousโฆ we would highly recommend this hotel as a great place to stay - just off the otorway but quiet! โ
โThis was by far the nicest location that we stayed at while in France. Staff was excellent, and the food was excellent. It is remote, so plan for extra travel times if going into town.โ
