Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Cepo could be a piece of cake or it could go on forever. We've pulled together some handy tips that will help you start your next unforgettable escape on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- The secret to having a great travel experience is to be prepared. First up, the essentials: passport, official ID, bank cards and important medications. Next, bring on board items that'll help keep you entertained, like your laptop or a magazine. You'll also want to pack your chargers, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of noise-canceling headphones. And of course, don't forget to toss in toiletry items like a toothbrush, deodorant and a fresh set of clothes.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Pointed or sharp objects, like your Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as spray paint, flares and poisons, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main priority is to be as comfortable as you can. Go for slip-on footwear, dress in loose, natural-fiber clothing and remember to bring a jacket in case it gets chilly in the cabin.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) can pose a risk on long-distance flights. It results from blood clotting due to inactivity and poor circulation, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks.
